The most important event of the photovoltaic industry is behind us! On May 27-28, we participated in the PV Congress 2024. The fifth edition gathered nearly 1,000 participants.
Photovoltaic Congress is an annual event that integrates the entire PV sector in Poland. The event is filled with substantive experts' speeches about regulations, current policies, and future forecasts for the industry, as well as key trends and innovations, all in a modern trade space.
This year, Congress participants had the opportunity to meet BayWa r.e. at a dedicated booth, where we shared knowledge and exchanged experiences.
On the second day of the Congress, dedicated to the development and needs of the industry, we participated in the session: “Floating and Agri-PV. The Rescue for Agriculture?", which started with a speech and presentation made by Michele Tagliapietra, Director of Floating PV, BayWa.re. He shared his experience of operating floating PV installations in Europe and took part in a debate that ended with numerous questions on the possibilities of implementing Agri-PV and Floating-PV projects in Poland.
The increasing scale of the event year by year convinces us of the huge deployment and the potential for photovoltaics in our country. It was a very fruitful time, thank you for all the meetings and discussions.
