On April 24–25, 2025, we participated in the 3rd Wind Energy and Birds Conference organized by the Pta.com Association.
Properly locating wind energy projects and protecting birds are extremely important to us. Therefore, we were pleased to become a partner of the 3rd Wind Energy and Birds Conference, which was held in Gdańsk on April 24–25, 2025.
The event, organized by the Association for Supporting Bird-Friendly Investments Pta.com, was entirely dedicated to the impact of wind farms on birds. The conference brought together an international team of speakers — experts in research, environmental impact assessments, detection and reaction systems, as well as wind project development and management. Participants were offered a wealth of knowledge on modern technologies, challenges, and solutions for protecting birds from collisions at wind farms.
Can the energy transition align with biodiversity protection, including rare bird species? The conference provided an answer: with proper dialogue, solid planning, and modern solutions, it is absolutely possible!
In all BayWa r.e. projects, we always pay attention to the surrounding fauna and flora and seek the best location for investments to ensure that wind projects are developed in harmony with the environment.
