In early June, we were happy to be a partner at Polish PV Congress 2022- the largest photovoltaic event in the country. Organized by the Polish Photovoltaic Association, the yearly event gathers hundreds of attendees from both Poland and abroad.
In early June this year BayWa r.e. actively participated in the Polish PV Congress - the largest photovoltaic event in the country, organized by the Polish Photovoltaic Association. This year’s edition gathered 550 attendees.
In addition to expert presentations about politics in Poland and the EU and discussions on the photovoltaic and energy sectors in the country, the PV Congress was also a wealth of opportunities for networking. This proved an excellent space to engage in dialogue and exchange ideas on clean energy and the energy transition in Poland.
As an expert in innovation within PV, we took part in a session where our Floating-PV technology was presented as a case by Toni Weigl - Head of Product Management Floating-PV. The use of photovoltaics on unused bodies of water is generating considerable interest in Poland.
The Polish PV Association also honored individuals and companies who in an exceptional way contributed to the development of photovoltaics in Poland. We are proud of the award of distinction presented by the association to Matthias Emminghaus - Project Manager, Project Management EMEA and a Member of Management Board BayWa r.e. Polska sp. z o.o. for the PPA for the first unsubsidized photovoltaic project of its scale in Poland - the Witnica Solar Park.
